Roundtables provide leaders with program ideas, information on upcoming events, policy and program updates and training opportunities.  It is a forum for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other Scout leaders.  Our goal is to inspire, motivate, and enable unit leaders to provide a stronger program for their Scouts!

WHEN IS ROUNDTABLE?  Roundtable is held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM, except for the month of June when there is no Roundtable.

What do I do if have an announcement I’d like to make at the next Roundtable?
A:  Be brief!  Try to keep the announcement to 60 seconds or less (“Just the facts,” as Joe Friday would say).  Here are some tips to help keep things moving along:

  • Prepare a brief statement ahead of time.
  • Bring a flyer with details to distribute: let the flyer provide the details!
  • If possible, write up your announcement and submit it ahead of time to be included in the general announcements.  Send your information to Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtable Dave Thilges  at
  • When you arrive at Roundtable, see one of the Roundtable Commissioners to be added to the Announcements list.  Be sure to sign in with your name and announcement topic.  1 topic per announcement, please.
