Cub Scout Family Adventures

April 1 - April 2

Fun for individual families or entire Packs.  You’ll get three meals, a campsite, petting zoos, climbing wall, bounce houses, BB shooting, archery, face painting, reptile shows, scavenger hunts, nature walks, leather crafts, chess games, sports games, roping, ring tosses, rubber band guns, wrist rockets, bean bag/tennis ball toss, soccer, ball tosses, frisbee golf, hiking, chapel, campfire, movie night. “How to plan a Campfire” class.

Youth Protection Training is designed to help you keep our youth safe from abuse. You will learn the Boy Scouts of America's Youth Protection Guidelines, signs of abuse, and how to report suspected abuse.   YPT is REQUIRED for all new registered leaders and must be retaken every two years to maintain registration.   Live YPT is a current requirement for all adults attending an extended summer camp in Texas. Bravos River Canoe Races

Spend a day on the Brazos River at Worth Ranch! Parent and Youth Teams are Welcome. Canoes provided. Two Races: 6-mile Fun Race; 14 mile Advanced Race for teams of experienced canoeists. Lunch, boats, equipment, awards, and supper provided. Open to Boy Scouts, Venturers, Explorers, and adults.  All must be swimmers.  Camping is open all weekend.

District Webelos Crossover

Crossover ceremony hosted by Order of the Arrow, open to all Roadrunner District Webelos transitioning to Boy Scouts. This ceremony is intended primarily to Packs with only a few transitioning Webelos who would like to participate in larger ceremony than the unit might otherwise deem practical. This new and later date was selected based on changes in the updated Cub Scout program. Location TBD. Time is tentative.
