May 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Youth Protection Training (YPT) is designed to help you keep our youth safe, and Youth Protection begins with YOU. You will learn the three “R”s of youth protection, reporting procedures for volunteers, steps for reporting abuse, and Scouting’s Barriers to Abuse which includes key concepts like “two-deep leadership” and “no one-on-one contact.” Youth Protection Training is required for all BSA volunteers, must be taken every two years, and must be current at the time of recharter. Live YPT is a current requirement for all adults attending extended camp activities like Cub Scout Day Camp or Summer Camp in Texas.
